Evaluation

PERSONAL:
  • If the project was taken further we would have made more posts about omre issues and had the colour code to different loop lock labels. This would make it even easier to find a certain issue as the colours on the post would match the label.
  • The colours on the account could match up better, due to the different formats (animation, photography, digitally developed images) not all the colours matched correctly. We tried our best by using the editing software we had available, however if the project was ot be produce professionally we would colour grade all images to make sure they match cohesively as to make sure the colour coded labels matched correctly.
  • We could have taken more photos of the labels in a variety of locations however this would have taken time away from developing the rest of the instagram, so time and planing could have been improved slightly there. But overall the project felt well ran and me and Eleanor worked well as a team.
PEERS:
  • People felt that the animations could've done with sound added. The sound could've been similar to the instrumental music Tasty play over their videos.
    - I agree this would've been a good addition, the music chosen would have to be chosen carefully as it could change the whole vibe of the account.
  • One critique suggested that there was too much white on the account, making it look a little childish as though the background hadn't been considered.
    - There could've been more experimentation into background colour throughout the project, however with some aspects of the instagram, such as animations, it would've been difficult to get a consistent background colour to match.
  • People felt that the account was well designed and the colour coding to separate rows was 'handy'. Some felt as though there could've been more design features to further the fact that the account is split into rows.
  • The small details, such as connecting lines, were well received and peers felt this made it seem more considered on a whole as the smaller details were also thought about.
