Initial Research - Studio Task

Who and Why:

 - Totally Okay
   - Seen there designs in places that I go in my own free time.
   - Super playful designs, love the aesthetic.
   - Accessible for the project, Sheffield based.

 - Experimental Jetset
   - Said that they didn't agree with elements of their manifesto anymore, want to know what's changed and why.
   - Like their stuff but don't know much about their practice, want to find out more.

 - Rob Lee
   - Local designer, easily accessible.
   - How he go to doing the work he does, the process it took him to get their.
   - Love the street art element, and his work demonstrates how complex design can be.

 - Anyways
   - Wanting to work in a studio post graduation.
   - Found their processes as a studio interesting when Charlie Sheppard came in to talk to us in L4.
   - Want to find out more about the everyday in the studio and also on specific projects.

 - Printed Peanut 
   - Playful, colourful design.
   - Has he own line of products, designed the packaging, source the distributors etc. Interested in how this is possible and if there are a team of people, seams as though it's one person online.

 - Alva Skog
   - How did she find out she wanted to present women in the way she does?

 - Kelly Anna 
   - Love the illustrations!
   - Find the style she developed interesting, how did she get there, does she think finding a style is important?
   - Does she consider herself an illustrator or designer?

 - Eye on Design 

 - Hiller Goodspeed 
   - How did he manage to become a professional with such an innocent and playful style?
   - Are there any difficulties to having a playful aesthetic that he's faced?

 - Stereotype Design (Swissted personal project)
   - What inspired him to do this project?

6. When you were studying did you create work similar to what you create now?
7. Do you think having a specific style is important when being a designer?
8. When you left university did where did you expect yourself to go and work, how is that different from where you are now?
9. Would you prefer to be working where you thought you'd be or are you happy where you are now?
10. What is it like working as a freelancer/studio designer? Do you feel like it suits your practice or would something else suit it more?
