Be Kind Rewind
- Massive tone of positivety throughout the film, has a surreal nature, lo-fi unpolished production. They wanted to continue the 'lo-fi' style and make things look retro with a "cheap" aesthetic.
- Produced quick sketched of existing, well known films, inspired by research - good technique to make fast ideas.
- For posters they took shapes and dialogue from the film and collaged together.
- For the screening they wanted it to be imperfect and include aduience invovment, influenced by sweded design. Going to have an inconsiderate seating arrangement to show the "cheap" elements of the film.
Does this show that it's "cheap" or that you don't care?
- wanting to push the idea of the film, wanting to communicate the mashed together feel of the film into the experience.

The Grand Budapest Hotel
- For the screening they're wanting to recreate the idea of a hotel environment, play on the service element of the film.
- Have created props similar to that of the film, small mendl's boxes with new typeface and geometric design. Printed onto pink paper and will be filled with pink popcorn, creates a really whimsical feel.
- The key's are going to be tickets, 4 different types of key, they're the ones seen in the film.
- Posters relate to the symmetry elements of Anderson's filming techniques. The layout is being mirrored both horizontally as well as vertically, and produces a diamond shape.
- The coloured are pinks, blue and purple, as they're key colours throughout the movie.
Payed close attention to details within the film, could really push the idea of service within the screening, have an actual lobby boy to show you to your seats etc.

Would be nice to have consistent type across the products and on the instagram, starting to look a little disjointed.
