Life's a Pitch Group Decisions

Aesthetic:






























- Think having simple shapes with a layout that is able to be translated across multiple designs.
- Would be beneficial to have a grid structure that's consistent to the posters, can easily be translated to the different formats (website, tickets, etc.)

BRIEFING NOTES:
  • Potential gaps - what questions might people ask within the pitch, how will we answer these?
  • The pitch is the main focus, not the design, need to present the idea clearly to the audience. 
  • We have to design the pitch, needs to look good, present ideas clearly. Will there be things we pass around? Mock up flyers/crit sheet etc. 
  • The design doesn't need to be vigorous, it's about the idea, how well it's been thought through, how achievable it is etc. 

Things to figure out:
- When and how frequently it will take place.
- Where is it going to take place, look into places shearlait recommended (place near seagull paints etc).
- How much is this going to cost? event alone, event with website, Instagram (paying for sponsered posts).
- What are we really wanting to communicate? Wanting to present the idea as clearly as possible.
- Developing a brand to provide

- Wanting to develop a colour palette that works with the shapes, simple, fun etc.
- As they look childlike the colour palette needed to bring up the maturity level.
- The final colour palette as more warm tones to prevent the overall aesthetic from looking too young.
