- The key was a detail extracted from the film and incorporated into the screening, I really like that not every person had the same key as it furthers the idea of a hotel simulation (since no two rooms would use the same key).
- The mendl's box used a type that reflects anderson's panographic filming methods, it recreated the traditional mendl's logo very well and reflected the angular methods of Anderson's filming.
We then made our way to our seats and proceeded to watch the film. There were no further interventions as I assume the group wanted it to resemble a true cinematic experience.
- I think a small detail that would have made a lot of difference would be to have a second lobby boy who would show you to your seats, it would really further the feel of hospitality as the key and popcorn boxes were really well thought out and felt rather luxurious. Then you were just left alone and no further 'special treatment' (as you get in hotels) happened.
- The film is about a trip made by a gentleman in the 1960s, during this time films would usually have an intermission of about 10 minutes. This could have been something to include where further hotel elements could have been applied.
